Interpretation in Live Proceedings
1.1 Description
- Provide interpretation and sight translation from English to the appropriate dialect and vice versa.
- Work involves live court or court-related proceedings.
1.2 Performance Standards
- All services must comply with Part III, Florida Rules for Certification and Regulation of Spoken Language Court Interpreters (“Florida Rules”).

Translation of Documents
2.1 Description
- Translate documents from English to the dialect and vice versa.
2.2 Performance Standards
- All services must comply with Part III, Florida Rules for Certification and Regulation of Spoken Language Court Interpreters.
Dialect Proficiency Requirement
Interpreters must specify their proficiency in one or more of the following Mayan dialects:
K’iché, Yucatec, Q’eqchi, Mam, Tzeltal, Kaqchikel, Q’anjob’al.
