The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit is proud to share that Judge Jennifer Alcorta Waters was recognized last Saturday by the Palm City Chamber of Commerce with the Michelle Radcliffe Dutro Memorial Award.
Established in 2014 by the Palm City Chamber Board of Directors, the award honors the legacy of Michele Radcliffe Dutro, whose dedication to service left a lasting impact on the Palm City community. Michele devoted her time and energy to strengthening local organizations, including United Way, Kiwanis International, and Food for Families, and played a significant role in shaping the Palm City Chamber of Commerce into the organization it is today. The Michelle Radcliffe Dutro Memorial Award is presented to a company or individual who gives generously of their time, talent, and expertise in service to the community.
Judge Waters was recognized for her longstanding dedication to the citizens of Martin County, particularly through her leadership and work in Mental Health Court. Her efforts reflect a deep commitment to ensuring that individuals with mental health challenges are connected with appropriate resources, held accountable in a fair and constructive manner, and given meaningful opportunities to stabilize and move forward.
We congratulate Judge Waters on this well-deserved recognition and thank the Palm City Chamber of Commerce for honoring public service in our community. Her work exemplifies the collaborative spirit and commitment to service that strengthen our courts and the communities we serve.
