- The courthouses are secure judicial facilities.
- All visitors will be required to pass through a metal detector. No guns, knives or other items construed as a weapon are allowed in the building.
- Persons entering the courthouse may be subject to a physical search of their person and handheld possessions. Handheld possessions may include purses, wallets, luggage, toolboxes, cell phones, briefcases, packages, etc. Persons who refuse to be searched shall be denied access to the Courthouse or Courtroom. Weapons, hazardous materials, or contraband are strictly prohibited and may be confiscated. Among the items prohibited from the courthouse are liquid and food items, guns, knives, ammunition, pepper spray, razor blades, illegal drugs, as well as any other type of dangerous or hazardous material or property. Court Security will not hold or return prohibited items.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the Courtroom.
