As of January 23, 2012, we will be scheduling Special Set Motions (1 hour or less) using our online scheduling program. The website is https://slccjis.stlucieco.gov/attorney_calendar and you must register to obtain your user ID and password on the site. Please note any hearings that require more than one hour must be requested in writing with an explanation as to why more than one hour is needed. Please indicate whether opposing counsel agrees with the estimated time requested for hearing. Thank you for your cooperation.

MONDAY AND FRIDAY – UMC FORECLOSURE SJ/FJ ONLY - 8:30-9:30 AM
TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY – ALL OTHER UMC MOTIONS – 8:30 AM

ALL TELEPHONIC ATTENDANCE AT UMC MOTIONS MUST BE SET UP WITH COURTCALL (888-882-6878 EXT. 870) FIVE BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING.

TELEPHONIC FORECLOSURE HEARING ATTENDANCE MUST BE SET THROUGH COURTCALL. SUMMARY JUDGMENT FORECLOSURE HEARINGS MUST BE SET AT LEAST SIX (6) DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING TO PROVIDE ADVERSE PARTIES TIME TO COMPLY WITH RULE 1.510(c). THERE WILL BE NO ADD-ON AFTER THE CUT OFF DATE.

SEND ALL MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SUMMARY JUDGMENT PACKETS TO JUDGE McCANN’S OFFICE NO LATER THAN TEN (10) CALENDAR DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED HEARING. IF COMPLETE PACKETS ARE NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST TEN (10) CALENDAR DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE HEARING, THE SUMMARY JUDGMENT HEARING MAY BE RESET.

The Judicial Assistant does not track UMC hearings. As a result, we ask that you please NOT call the Judge’s office to check if your case has been set on or removed from a UMC docket. Do not fax cancellations of Foreclosure/UMC hearings to our office.
