Nineteenth Circuit Court Hosts National Association of Drug Court Professionals Operational Tune Up

NADCP (National Association of Drug Court Professionals) and NDCI (National Drug Court Institute) selected the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court to host a program titled the “Operational Tune-Up”. This training program took place on May 9-10th, 2019 at the Intergenerational Center in Vero Beach, FL. Operational Tune-Up was designed for adult drug court teams and focused on deploying practical applications to enhance drug court operations. Attendees came from four local counties and included 32 professionals such as: judges, probation officers, case managers, and drug treatment providers. The two-day training was highly interactive and provided opportunities for self-assessments of programs, science-based literature about participants, and how to best utilize evidence-based programs for successful outcomes.

Wendy Parent, Drug Court Manager for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court said, “It was a great opportunity for any new team members to learn more about what we do in drug court and provided existing team members with both new and innovative ways to help enhance our programs.”
