Employment at the 19th Circuit
Application Process
All information should be submitted directly to the Human Resources Office of the 19th Judicial Circuit. Unless otherwise stated, the following documents must be submitted to be considered for a position:
- Cover Letter
- Resume
- Employment Application
The Employment Application must be filled out completely – including title of position you are applying for and position number, if available - and signed. Incomplete applications will not be considered. State of Florida and Saint Lucie County applications are available on the Job Listings page of our website, or you can pick up an application at the 19th Judicial Circuit Court Administration Offices at the St. Lucie West Annex (see address below).
- Transcripts/Verification of Education
If you are a college graduate, transcripts must be provided if you would like your degree to be considered in the interview. The transcripts do not need to be official; however, if you are selected for an interview, you may be asked to provide official transcripts (official transcripts must be received by the Human Resources Office directly from the institution attended). If you are unable to provide a copy of transcripts at the time of submitting an application, a copy of the degree should be provided.
A separate application must be submitted for each position listing the appropriate class title and position number for which you are applying.
Please do not fax applications without prior approval from the Human Resources Office.
Unless a position is listed as “Open until filled,” all applications must be received in the Human Resources Office by 5:00 pm on the closing date.
Interview Process
Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by telephone to schedule an interview; therefore, please provide a telephone number where you can be contacted during business hours. Once the interviewing process has been completed and an individual has been selected for the position, all interviewed applicants will be notified in writing that a selection has been made. Positions are removed from our website once a position has been filled.
Background Checks
The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), employment verification, education verification, and any necessary professional license verification.
Information Regarding Positions
The 19th Judicial Circuit includes Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and Saint Lucie Counties. A position may rotate throughout the Circuit, as necessary.
